Timothy Zakka Babah is a public health and programme coordination professional with over 18 years of experience leading multi-state and multi-country programmes across health, livelihoods, girls’ education and empowerment, women’s inclusion and leadership, youth empowerment, and agrifood systems.
He holds Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Roehampton, UK. Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration & Management from Nasarawa State University; and Bachelor of Technology, Industrial Chemistry from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi State.
Timothy is also trained in Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro 1, PgMD Pro 1). Certified in Leadership & Management in Health and Fundamentals of Global Health Research (University of Washington).
He has a strong track record of coordinating complex, multi-partner programmes, aligning national strategies with sub-national implementation, and ensuring timely, high-quality, and compliant delivery.
He has managed large multi-million-dollar donor-funded portfolios supported by the U.S. Department of State (DOS), FCDO, and the Global Fund. His expertise includes partner coordination, performance management, and adaptive implementation, working closely with government and non-state actors to deliver inclusive and sustainable outcomes. He brings strong leadership in team management and partner capacity strengthening, with a focus on results-driven programme delivery.
