— Context & Strategy

Children, especially the girl-child’s education and promoting gender equality is part of a broader, holistic effort by AHDI. It includes ensuring that girls do not suffer disproportionately in poor and vulnerable households.

— Education

Investing in a child’s education pays in the future for the family, community and country they come from. Education doesn’t have a one-size-fits-all solution. Thus, we constantly research and explore best practices in order to provide solutions that help the child get the best education.

— Health

Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to getting and staying healthy. So our health programs focus on two important things:
1) developing healthy sanitation and hygiene practices and 2) connecting kids with affordable health services when they need help.

— Empowerment

Through empowerment programs that build leadership, teamwork and confidence, we’re not only making a brighter future possible, but we’re also creating a positive ripple effect on kids’ communities.

— Innovation

A new way of thinking must be combined with innovative practices, programs and products if the massive and growing challenges faced by children would be tackled headlong. Thus, we work to explore and utilize cutting-edge modern practices to provide innovative programmes and services for children.
