Tunde Fehintola

Tunde is a seasoned international humanitarian and development specialist. He holds a Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM) credential from Stanford University, USA, advanced leadership and management certifications from Cornell University, Ithaca, USA. He is widely recognized for his leadership in managing finance, compliance and human resources within the non-profit sector. He has a master’s degree in business administration from University of Jos, and another master’s degree in international affairs and diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University.

Tunde has worked successfully within the international development space for almost three decades with several international development agencies, where he has strategically supported and led finance and compliance aspects of multi-million-dollar donor-funded projects.  He worked effectively within institutions with well-structured and competent senior management teams that promote, demonstrate, and exemplify good governance. He has successfully supported projects in all 36 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory, on themes such as water, sanitation, hygiene promotion, conflict management and resolution, education, health, food security, extractives and natural resource governance programs, creative programs, development communication initiatives, etc.  

He has outstanding experience in grants and contractual awards management (from international public and private donor sources), including knowledge of contractual instruments such as grants, cooperative agreements, contracts, etc.

Tunde provided finance, compliance and grant management oversight over multi-awards and projects funded by international donor sources such as the U.S. Department of State (DoS), Global Fund, Unitaid, Gates Foundation, UNICEF, World Food Program, DG ECHO, FCDO, World Bank, Gavi, Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD), MacArthur Foundation, McGovern Foundation, Trinity College, etc., and several agencies of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

He is a change management specialist with broad experience in core aspects of institutional capacity building. He has strong management and leadership experience in establishing and supporting institutional start-up structures, policies, procedures, and practices.
